What the hell is a Caduceus, anyway?

A caduceus (/kəˈduːsiəs/, -ʃəs, -ˈdjuː-; kerykeion in Greek) is a winged staff with two snakes wrapped around it. It was an ancient astrological symbol of commerce and is associated with the Greek god Hermes, the messenger for the gods, conductor of the dead and protector of merchants and thieves. It was originally a herald's staff, sometimes with wings, with two white ribbons attached. The ribbons eventually evolved into snakes.

In the seventh century, the caduceus came to be associated with a precursor of medicine, based on the Hermetic astrological principles of using the planets and stars to heal the sick.

video strip discovery!

Hi everyone!

So, i found this cool little google/youtube thingy that lets me put seach words that cycle 4 clips at a time! i typed in Dharma : Hanso : Flight 815 : smoke monster.

it basically is a perpetual search that matches those words. there's a few cool little things to catch. the strip is at the bottom right of the page and show video at the top of the page. if you hit refresh it goes to another word result...

any suggestions as to what else i should give a seach for it to cycle thru? click 'comment' to suggest!

Sarah's Dream

I just couldn't pass up the chance to post this! :)

Oh my god- and I totally forgot to mention that i had a dream last night that *I* was on Lost island!!! Me and Locke were like BFFs!!!! I can't remember exactly what happened, but I think Locke, Sayeed(or however you spell it) and I were fixing a bus.
Not sure where it was going to take us, but we were excited to fix it! It was like a Trailways bus or one of those Charter busses. Also, i think that we were ALL with the Others, and were getting along pretty well. Then- the Others made us walk to this really big house with a ton of rooms... and we were told that we all had to "procreate." Every girl had to pick a guy to have a baby with... and I think had to keep trying until they finally got pregnant!! I was really nervous that I was going to get stuck with an ugly person... but he wasn't. He also wasn't one of the people on the show.... just some random guy.
And we didn't get a chance to procreate, because I woke up. It was REAL Weird!!!!
