Dudes! So as of tomorrow, there are exactly 6 weeks left until Lost returns (it will apparently be on Thursdays rather than Wednesdays now)!

That's the good news; the bad news is that because of the writers' strike, the season may be shortened to just 8 episodes. This is completely ridiculous - why won't those greedy execs just pay the writers already! How many more game shows and reality shows do we have to endure before we get any real TV again? I've been reduced to watching like 6 seasons of ANTM reruns on MTV because of this. You know what? If I hear the word "fierce" again I'm going to jump out a window. I'm convinced that if you put marathons of any reality show on TV, people will watch. God help me if I get roped into a Tila Tequila marathon.

But - back to more good Lost news. I've heard some good things about the new season: (1) it has a similar tone to the first season; (2) it's the "scariest" season so far; and (3) we'll see Michael and Walt again!
