So Jin, is the reason that Russeo and by default Alex is alive, since it seems to be that the rest of the team went down into the temple and got the "sickness". The killing of Alex also set Ben off to do things not yet seen, because of this prior action.
It also seems to me that Locke made himself the Leader of the other's by telling Albert to check him out in the hospital when he was born.
And Daniel, who says the past can't be changed sure seems to be trying. He tries to get Desmond to help as well as, tries to tell young Charlotte not to come back to island. And he is for some reason at the orchid when it's being built.
Things that make you go hmm...
I think they are telling us this story now pulp fictions style and if we can put the pieces together in chronological order, we will start to see how things are coming together.

i thought this was a good episode - very action packed and totally the scariest so far for this season... i do so enjoy me some good smoke-monster.
i liked that jin totally spilled charlotte's secret korean tea... hehe... although, i still want to know how she was so fluent and was hiding it.
i think that desmond is like faraday's mother in some way that allows them to not be affected by the time warping (plus the fact that the constant is something that desmond can remember, as well as memories that should not be remembered). essentially, i think that he particularly is special like that.
but OMG! what the hell is up with the creepiness of faraday telling little girl charlotte that she would die if she came back!?!?
And jack's father?!?!
it was a good episode (not amazing, but pretty fun and scary and intriguing). Jin makes me swoon... le sigh...
I am really not digging the increasingly important role that Daniel plays. They need to hurry up and give him some humanity, some complexity and some tics besides scratching the back of his head and wincing and saying "let's just say..."
I thought to myself... what if he's HER DAD (Charlotte's)? Since he's all jumpy from time to time on the island... and what if Ellie's pregnant with Charlotte?
Since we are pretty sure that Mrs. Hawking is Ellie (her first name is Eloise), he'd then have to have impregnated his own mother... and juancy maintains that no Disney-owned network would allow it. but shit, this hot air balloon has come loose from its moorings and is floating through the air without a single cable connecting it back to reality, so, really... anything is possible, so long as it doesnt make a lick of sense.
