Damn... I mean, damn! I mean damn, for real? Did anyone rewind back and really check out her face while she was telling Dan that he should go to the island? It was a fine bit of acting. The emotion behind the smile. But damn... I mean, damn! I mean damn, for real?
Also, I think whatever Jack is up to next week, will either spring them into the right time or cause the meltdown that makes the swan button necessary, maybe both... Your thoughts?

I agree, Tina. Shit was cold. She got the vapors alright.
If Dan is right (the first time) and what's happened, happened, then they can't change their pasts and whatever they do probably will just help cause "the incident" that required the button-pushing. Can I just pause to say again how cool I think this idea is? They might actually get to see the incident! When they all first crashed on the island and started meeting the others and finding the stations and hearing about the button-pushing, etc., how crazy is it that as strange as all of that seemed to them at the time, THEY actually helped create it all! There's some wicked fun mind-bending going on here. I don't think I've ever seen time travel handled this way. They plucked it out of the realm of sci-fi and really made it about life.
Tangent aside, if it turns out that Dan is wrong, then that would make for some wild shit! What happens if they DO stop the incident? What's the next shot? Flight 815 safely landing in LA and all the passengers walking off having never met one another? If we were already on the last season, I might just think that the would be ballsiest way to end a tv series ever (it would be a smart way of doing the old "it was all a dream" gimmick). But I can't imagine they'll do that. Especially in season 5. And so many people would be so pissed.
