I think they're not going to answer a LOT of questions, so we should brace ourselves for that now, or else the finale will be very disappointing! BUT, I AM excited that in one more day we will finally get SOME answers that we've had since day one -- SIX YEARS AGO! I can't believe it's all coming to an end.
As for the Hurley bird, this doesn't necessarily answer the question, but I DO have a theory that Hurley will be the new Jacob -- not Jack. I think Jack will either be killed or will mess up or be rejected or SOMEthing, and Hurley will be the one to take up the torch. So perhaps the Hurley bird was the Island's way of trying to send Hurley a message to that regard!
