Oh my god. oh my god oh my god oh my god. I thought it was brilliant. I loved the tension of learning that Future Kate has a son... and then wondering if it's Sawyer's, if she was impregnated on the island, if she gives birth on the island, and then that revelation in the last shot was just too much!!! What the hell?!? WHAT THE HELL HAPPENS TO CLAIRE??! AND WHY CAN'T JACK DEAL WITH SEEING AARON?
(Props to Juancy - he totally called it... as soon as Kate walks in the door to her house, Juancy said "it's Aaron." And so it was).
But seriously people. What gives? Are we not feeling this blog so much anymore?

My lack of commenting just has to do with deadline issues. Once I get through my work and get my thoughts together I will be commenting.
PS: I called that Aaron thing too. That I'm not good with babies was serious foreshadowing!
For my own part, I've been trying to stay a bit mum because I thought I knew who the O6 were, and I didn't want to reveal too much with my postings. Having said that, I think I'll say this much (stop reading if you don't want to read this): Aaron ain't on my list! This suggests two possibilities to me: (1) Aaron isn't one of the O6ers; or (2) my list is for shit (in fairness, it was right about Hurley and Sayid). At the end of the day, I think I'm leaning toward thinking that Aaron isn't an O6er and was just sort of packaged along with Kate, meaning the two remaining people on my list should still be getting off the island. This is troublesome, however, because the teaser for this week's episode said another O6er would be revealed... Maybe there was a miscommunication between the marketing department and the show creators?
Several other random points:
(1) I think it's funny that Kate's "he" was likely Aaron. We all thought she was referring to Sawyer or some other beau, and here she was referring to a weird-looking kid (anyone else think he was autistic when we first spot him?).
(2) The timeline seems weird. They've been on the island in earth time for a little over 90 days (the first half of the episode actually took place in Chrstimas 2004), and we know that Jack goes to that funeral in season 3 in April of 2007, meaning there's only a little over 2 years between the island present and Jack's collapse. But it's been less than 2 years by the time we see Kate with Aaron, so wouldn't Aaron only be about 2 years old or so by that point? Wasn't that kid totally talking and didn't he look like he was about twelve if he was a day?
(3) Who are the Oceanic 8? Jack said 8 people survived the crash, so presumably 2 died. One of them was likely Claire. We know from Desmond's vision that Claire and Aaron are supposed to be helicoptered off the island, so perhaps Claire dies on the boat. Or -- because Desmond's visions tended to be a bit off -- perhaps we'll see that same shot but with Kate and Aaron rather than Claire and Aaron being rescued.
(4) Why didn't Jack want to see Aaron? Well, let's not forget Aaron is his step-nephew, which perhaps he learns from the boaties. And perhaps something he does results in Claire's death or her being left on the island.
(5) What's up with Faraday's memory? He might have alzhemier's or some other brain malfunction, and perhaps he was hoping the island would heal it?
(6) Anyone else notice Kate's hottie panties when she was in bed with Sawyer? Where the hell did she manage to find those? Whose house is Sawyer squatting in?
